workshop 2018
The distribution of Virtual Reality (VR) technologies increased considerably over the last years and more and more researchers from various disciplines incorporate VR setups in their scientific endeavor. While VR offers new perspectives in research and therapy, there are also new challenges with respect to the design, the development, and the validation of the respective setups. In our experience, these challenges and possibilities encourage an active, interdisciplinary discussion within, but also across fields. The 2nd VECTOR workshop in Tübingen thus aims to provide opportunities for exchange and inspiration.
Apart from experts in Psychology, Computer Science, and Medicine, we explicitly also invite colleagues from Educational Sciences and Serious Gaming to attend the VECTOR workshop. One day of tutorials and two days with talks and posters will provide insights into clinical VR applications and considerations from learning and education. The 2nd VECTOR workshop will be held at the modern Leibniz-Institut für Wissensmedien in Tübingen from July 25th to July 27th, 2018.

VECTOR 2016
The first VECTOR workshop was held in July 2016 at the University Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy in Tübingen. It brought together researchers from the fields of Psychology, Medicine, and Computer Science to discuss the application of VR and ongoing research in the respective fields.
