Call for Papers
The VECTOR workshop 2018 aims at providing an overview of the state of the art within the diverse and interdisciplinary field of virtual reality applications in psychological research and therapy. While the main focus will be on the combination of therapeutic virtual reality applications and serious gaming, VECTOR 2018 seeks contributions from the different areas related to virtual reality. This includes applications in basic research, therapies, and trainings. Furthermore, contributions from fields related to serious gaming, including educational applications, games for health and user experience studies are eligible and highly welcome. The workshop will be a forum to present and discuss recent results, ongoing work and new technologies. We also appreciate presentations of software tools and experimental setups. Furthermore, we encourage students to present their bachelor or master thesis in a talk or as a poster. Please have a look at the details below. Lab tours and demos are a great opportunity to get in touch with fellow researchers and to discuss ongoing and planned experimental setups, as well as soft- and hardware tools. If you are interested in giving a lab tour or a demonstration, then please send us an abstract (limited to 2000 words) via the submission system. Please specify what you want to show, whether you would like to restrict the maximum number of participants, and where you would like to do your presentation.
